Atomic Bomb Dome & Peace Memorial Park

The Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Park are symbols of “No More Hiroshima” that convey the importance of peace.
The dome, miraculously survived destruction by the atomic bomb, was registered as a World Heritage site as a vital place conveying the importance of anti-war and permanent peace, and these are representative spots of Hiroshima visited by many tourists from both Japan and overseas. One of the must-visit spots when you visit Hiroshima as a place to remember the tragedy of war and reflect on the future.

Omote-Sando is the main street in Miyajima, and there are many shops of local foods and souvenirs on both sides of the street. You can shop for souvenirs for a piece of art such as Shamoji, a rice spoon, and other handicrafts.

Explore the Mysterious Shrine on the Sea!
Itsukushima shrine, known as “Miyajima in Aki” as one of the three scenic views of Japan, is a majestic and splendid shrine constructed in the shinden-zukuri style on the sea. The landscape where structures on the sea harmonize with the expansive nature behind them is historically and culturally invaluable, and has been designated a World Cultural Heritage site.
The scenery of Itsukushima Shrine changes dramatically with a tide level. At high tide, you can enjoy the fantastic atmosphere as it appears to float on the sea. This National Treasure shrine attracts visitors from around the world year-round.
