Odori Park & Sapporo TV Tower

Odori Park stretches 12 blocks from east to west and divides the north and southern city, making it the heart of Sapporo. Events such as Sapporo Snow Festival and ceremonies are held in this park. Located on the eastern edge of Odori Park is Sapporo TV Tower with an observation deck offering a 360-degree magnificent view of Sapporo in every season.

Sapporo Clock Tower

Just one block away from Odori Park, Sapporo Clock Tower is a symbolic landmark in Sapporo. Currently, this wooden building is the oldest building standing in Sapporo. What was once a drill hall is now a museum displaying the building’s history and Sapporo on the first floor, and clock displays and ceremony hall on the second floor.

Former Hokkaido Government Office (Red Brick Office)

Built in 1888, the Former Hokkaido Government Office is a red brick building in American neo-baroque style. The building and its exhibits on Hokkaido history are open to the public.

Sapporo Beer Museum

Sapporo Beer Museum is the only beer museum in Japan. This red brick building was a former sugar mill and malt factory before it became a beer factory and then a museum. A wide variety of beer tastings are available and you can even enjoy a draft beer together with a dish called “Genghis Khan”.
